Futurology Permissions Post
Sep. 24th, 2015 02:27 pmHello all! Ushahin here has psychic abilities that he uses quite frequently, so here's a permissions post for you all to fill out. It's been forever since I put one of these up, so I might update it at some point.
Dreams abilities:
1. Can he enter your character's dream?
2. What are typical dreams he would find himself in?
3. Can he manipulate or change your character's dreams?
4. Can he put thoughts in your character's subconscious via a dream? i.e. Tell them to go to a certain place while they sleep with them waking up only remembering an urge to go there right away.
5. Can he give them a nightmare?
Psychic abilities:
1. Can he read your character's mind?
2. What are some typical surface thoughts and emotions he'd find?
3. Can he dig deeper, reading their memories and subconscious?
4. Can he manipulate and/or change your character's thoughts?
5. He has an ability called the glamour, which cloaks him in an illusion that makes him look normal. Would your character be fooled by this?

Date: 2015-10-07 03:39 am (UTC)1. I would have to say "no" to this, unfortunately, just because of Angus Bumby rattling her too much.
Psychic abilities:
1. I will allow it to an extent, just enough not to startle Alice too much. Anything too extensive will frighten her and cause her to shut down. So, for now, he would have to tread lightly, Alice is still pretty traumatized after Bumby.
2. That would readily depend on her mood, I believe. Alice's thoughts and mind seem to go along with her emotions, as well as things in her environment get absorbed in there (i.e. her obviously making Wonderland versions of people in her life, so I don't think it's a stretch the world around her gets absorbed into Wonderland, in some fashion). The more upset she is, the more chaotic her thought process tends to be.
3. Probably not, because, again, Bumby tried to erase her memories and Alice would not take too kindly to that.
4. Same as above! If it weren't for Bumby, I'd allow it.
5. Alice is perceptive, but she's not perceptive by any sort of magical abilities being used, because magic (as far as I know, could change with "Otherlands") simply does not exist in world. And I don't see the harm in that, either.
